Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
Euthanasia 101 (https://euthanasia101.com) is an educational resource about euthanasia, assisted dying, and end-of-life choices. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
The topics on this site are sensitive, so we handle your data with care. We will never sell your personal data to third parties.
1. Information We Collect
Email address (newsletter signup)
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. This is voluntary. We use it only to send you updates and content related to Euthanasia 101. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
If you ask for a free download (a checklist or a PDF), we email it to you. We then send up to two short follow-up emails over the next week, and then we stop. To be able to stop them, we keep your email address and the ids of those emails in the same Supabase database as the planning tools.
Planning tools (End-of-Life Readiness Score and Funeral Cost Estimator)
Your result is worked out in your browser. We do not save your answers unless you ask for your report.
If you ask for your report, we save your email address, your answers, your score (readiness tool only) and whether you unsubscribed. We never save your answer about faith or belief. We use it only to write your next steps, then drop it. We store this in a database run by Supabase. We send the emails through Resend.
We use this data only to send your report and up to two short follow-up emails, about 2 and 6 days later. We stop the follow-ups if you unsubscribe or buy the Complete Planning Library. We never sell it. You can unsubscribe with the link in any email.
We keep this data for up to 18 months after your last report, then delete it. Want it deleted sooner? Write to [email protected] from the same email address, and we will delete it.
Analytics data
We use Simple Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect any personally identifiable information. It collects aggregate data, such as page views and referral sources, without tracking individual visitors. No IP addresses are stored. See Simple Analytics' privacy policy for details.
Purchase data
If you buy our guide, a third-party payment provider processes the payment. We do not store your payment card details. We may receive your name and email address to fulfil the order.
